The stone produces a very fine, buttery mud that cuts very fast leaving a lots of detail and contrast.   Scratches from previous synthetic stones in the grit range of 1500 up to 3000 grit were easy to remove making jumping from synthetic to natural stones very efficient. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs well as strong polishing power this stone also gives a very crisp clean edge with nice tooth.
