A medium stone in the 6k-8k range, you could really push into the stone with pressure on the soft iron to build up a dark thick mud while still maintaining a smooth even feel across the entire stone. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTested on blue and white carbon steels, white 1 Honyaki as well as Togo Reigo, all took to turbine with ease. \u003cbr\u003eFor cladding i tested carbon steel Damascus and standard carbon steel cladding as well as wrought iron, rentetsu and Kamaji. This stone had the ability to bring out some very nice detail while keeping an even smooth finish. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI started the stone with a 600 grit atoma surface\u003cbr\u003ewashing of any mud from atoma.
