Our pricing
Komon's mission is to pick up the art created by Japanese craftsmen and convey it to the world. We need to respect and make craftsmanship sustainable, which is starting to shrink globally. As a result of trying to sell at an appropriate price, we hope you will be satisfied with the price.
Where can I see the product in person?
Unfortunately we do not have a gallery or shop in Japan. You will be able to see the actual product at overseas shops sold by Komon. Check our Retail Partner page HERE.
I have a retail shop. Can I handle Komon products in my shop?

What kinds of products dose Komon choose to sell?
Komon is derived from the Japanese kimono pattern called "小紋(komon)".
”小 = small” and ”紋 = pattern”, meaning a small pattern on a Kimono. You can't see the pattern from a distance, but if you look closely, you can see the delicate and beautiful pattern, just like a Japanese craftsman.Komon picks up such beautiful crafts that are difficult to find overseas.
We purchase our products by interacting with individual artists and well-established manufacturers, so we hope that people around the world will enjoy Japanese crafts.

Colors and patterns are different between the photos and the actual product.
Craftsman's handmade products have different characteristics one by one, and may differ in color and shape. Especially for ceramic ware, the color of the glaze may vary depending on the temperature and humidity of the season in which it is made. Tableware made from natural wood has different grains and colors. This means that it is the only one in the world. Please be aware of these points before purchasing and enjoy using it.
Are there any points to note when purchasing in the US, China, or EU?
The United States, China, and the EU each have laws that require quarantine and inspection of materials that come into contact with food when importing tableware and cutlery. Therefore, when purchasing imports to the United States, China, or the EU, please use the tableware and cutlery purchased from Komon for ornamental purposes. Komon will not be held responsible for any incidents.
ORDERING AND CANCELLATION
Komon's refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.For details, please check the REFUND POLICY page HERE.
The process for refund
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it, unused and unopened, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. To request a return, please contact us at komon.jcd@gmail.com. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted. What if my product gets damaged during shipping or I received the wrong item?
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.Some items are handmade or use precious materials, so it may take some time to ship a replacement item. Depending on the product, it may be difficult to obtain a replacement product, and it may be handled by refund. How do I exchange a product?
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new product.
Can I cancel my order?
Double check the product you choose and the total amount in your shopping bag before you complete your order, we’re unable to modify or make edits once it’s been placed.
How can I edit my order the address, products or amount?

What payment options do you have?
We accept pay with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Shop Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Apple Pay.
How are duties and taxes handled?
The import of a product from Japan may be subject to taxes and to custom fees in the country of delivery. we will not be able to cover these supplementary costs which will make them your responsibility.
Please purchase in accordance with the laws of your own country. We will take no responsibility if any of our items you bought are confiscated (seized) by customs. Please inquire with your local customs about regulations and duties.

Free Shipping on order over 50,000JPY.
3,000JPY for under 50,000JPY purchase.
When will I receive my order?
We will try to ship as soon as possible, but due to the small company and few people, it may be shipped within 30 days after the order is confirmed at the maximum.
What shipping method do you use?
We mainly use DHL or EMS for shipping. You should be able to receive it in about a week after shipping.
