This item is Binchotan 10 kg (1 box)
Hyuga Binchotan is made from natural wood harvested in Miyazaki, Japan. it takes more than a month to cut down the trees one by one with a chainsaw in the mountains, dry them, and make charcoal. Only after skilled craftsmen have verified the quality of each piece is it boxed and delivered to you.
It may be more expensive than regular charcoal. However, Binchotan's long burn time means that depending on the size, it can often burn all night and still not burn out. Since you don't have to add more charcoal, you end up using less.
Most importantly, since no chemicals are used, the charcoal does not transfer the flavour to the food, allowing the cook to enjoy the original taste of the food.
