With proper care, an iron kettle can be used for a lifetime.
After each use, make sure to discard all the water inside the kettle to prevent any moisture from remaining. Remove the lid and heat the kettle over the flame for about 30 seconds, then let it sit for 10 minutes to thoroughly dry out any remaining moisture and prevent rusting. Once the surface has cooled down, you can then proceed to clean and store the kettle.
