INTERPRETATION OF THE STONE

A very nice, well rounded stone, with good cutting and polishing abilities, excellent feedback and easy to get good results from. A medium fine, soft stone that can be used as a base for further polishing techniques or as a final finish. Tested on Tamahagane Honyaki, Tanaka sanmai, Watetsu, Hitachi honyaki. Leaves a very white jigane(soft steel) with details in cladding or folding pattern. An excellent stone!!
